Skateboard Edition “Straight Up“

This skateboard deck is far more than a functional object – it is the continuation of an artistic idea in a new medium. The design is based on the monumental mural that DAIM created in 2022 in Calgary/Canada, at 95 meters / 310 feet high one of the tallest graffiti works worldwide.

What makes this work special: DAIM deliberately chose not to completely paint over the concrete architecture, but to leave the raw surface visible as part of the artistic composition. This interplay between painted and untouched areas gives the piece its distinctive tension.
On the skateboard, this idea finds an extraordinary translation: the graphic covers the deck only partially, leaving the natural wood grain visible – the counterpart to the concrete surface on the wall. This creates a fascinating dialogue between material and design, between monumental mural and tangible art object.
